Three-Day Hand-Lettering Workshop, Layout, and Effects in Huntington Beach, CA.
Everything you love about the 2-day class but with a whole extra day for effects! Learn how to draw and hand letter multiple alphabets (Gothic, Casual, Thick & Thin, Phoenix & Western). Plus layout and paint a sign from scratch while learning effects such as convex lettering (Beveled), blending, faux marble, outline & shade.
3 full days of hands on sign painting with expert guidance by Smart Alex and a special guest.

AN INTENSE HANDS-ON COURSE FOR BEGINNER'S & ADVANCED, 8AM-4PM EACH DAY (24 HOURS + LUNCH INCL.)
Over the course of our workshop for 3-days, we will create a custom sign from start to finish. Focusing on: The Rules of Lettering & Letter Forms, Prepping a Sign, Layout Design, Making A Pattern, and Brush Control.
MY ZOOM LAYOUT CLASS IS RECOMMENDED BEFORE TAKING THE WORKSHOP BUT IS NOT REQUIRED.
Materials will be supplied for the class.
Participants will leave with their new sign, practice charts and instructional handouts.

The three-day hand-lettering workshop by Smart Alex Hand-Painted Signs will be a fun and easy going workshop in which your skills will be enhanced more from us! We will review hand lettering techniques, terms, and other easy skills you can use every day and there will be lots of group demonstrations, plenty of time to practice, and one-on-one instruction.
