Then jumping forward to 2014, she had been wanting to be closer to home since they are South Bay locals. An older couple who'd been doing flowers and balloons was ready to retire and asked Jenny to take over the shop. Then came 2016, Jane (daughter) moved back to California from living abroad in Seoul, teaching English and working for a photographer.
Not knowing what to do in life, Jane decided to help out, even though she wasn't super stoked on the idea of hopping in to the family business. But after spending some time in the shop, she quickly realized how much she enjoyed working with people, flowers and especially with her mom, Jenny.
